NAME

mkreiserfs - create a Linux Reiserfs file system 

SYNOPSIS

mkreiserfs[-bblock-size-in-1k-units][-hhash-name]device[size-in-blocks] 

DESCRIPTION

mkreiserfsutility is used to create a Linux Reiserfs file system on a device(usually a disk partition).
deviceis the special file corresponding to the device (e.g /dev/hdXX forIDE disk partition or /dev/sdXX for SCSI disk partition).
size-in-blocksis the number of blocks on the device. If omitted, it will bedetermined bymkreiserfsautomatically. 

OPTIONS

-b block-size-in-1k-units
Specify the size of blocks in 1024b units. In current versionmkreiserfsaccepts only values of 1, 2, or 4 (i.e. size of blocks can be 1024b,2048b, or 4096b correspondingly)
-h hash-name
is the name of hash function used to sort names. If omitted, "r5" hashwill be used as default. You can set also "-h tea".
