APEL stands for \"A Portable Emacs Library\".
It provides basic functions and macros for emacsen.
CLIME is a variation of FLIM, that is a library
to provide basic features about message
representation or encoding.
SEMI is a library to provide MIME feature for GNU Emacs.
SEMI has such features as MIME message viewing and composing.
EMH and RMAIL-MIME provides MIME feature for mh-e and rmail respectively.
After installation, you must modify your ~/.emacs file to contain
at least:
