Description :
Three utilities for joystick kernel drivers. See man for jstest, jscal,
and jsattach.
1. modprobe joydev < for (all) gamepads and joysticks>
2. modprobe analog < for (almost) all analog gamepads and joysticks>
3. modprobe yourdriver < See: /lib/modules/2.4.xx/kernel/drivers/char/joystick>
You can add the above into /etc/rc.d/rc.modules then upon bootup you should
see something like this below, e.g. 3. modprobe emu10k1-gp for my \"Gravis
Gamepad Pro\" compatible:
4. Output of \'dmesg\' or upon next bootup.
input1: Analog 2-axis 4-button joystick at gameport0.0 [TSC timer,
1992 MHz clock, 984 ns res]
gameport0: Emu10k1 Gameport at 0xec00 size 8 speed 1028 kHz
(Everyone) can test there joystick or gamepad with this terminal command:
5. jstest /dev/input/js0 < \'ctrl+c\' to quit jstest>
