| Summary : Dynamic AMD+NVIDIA GPU switcher for KVM passthrough hosts
|
Description :
Dynamically switches an NVIDIA GPU between vfio-pci (KVM passthrough) and the host nvidia driver at runtime — no reboot required. Designed for systems with AMD as the primary display GPU and NVIDIA as a secondary GPU for passthrough or PRIME render offload.
Features: - Plain terminal TUI and optional PyQt6 GUI - Safety checks: refuses to switch while a VM is running or nvidia is in use - JSON rollback snapshots (last 3 states) with one-command undo - Handles CONFIG_IOMMU_DEFAULT_PASSTHROUGH kernels by setting the IOMMU group to DMA type before driver binding - CLI mode: amd-nvidia-gpu-switch [passthrough|host|rollback|status]
For NVIDIA PRIME render offload use prime-run (provided by cachyos-settings).
