Description :
T1lib is a library, written in C, which implements functions
for generating bitmaps from Adobe Type 1 fonts. T1lib uses most of the X11
rasterizer code which was donated by IBM to the X11 project, but has
eliminated some of the X11 rasterizer\'s disadvantages. Usually, people will
use t1lib within the X Window System, but X is not necessary. However, the
t1lib package does include a testing program (xglyph) which will need to run
within X and can display most of the t1lib library\'s features.
