Index NAME
ezmlm-request - Process subject line ezmlm commands
SYNOPSIS
ezmlm-requestdir DESCRIPTION
Some clients and gateways inappropriately modify ezmlm command addresses,so that users cannot send the necessary commands.
ezmlm-requestenables these uses to send the message to
list-request@hostwith the complete command address line in the subject field.
ezmlm-requestconstructs new requests from all other subjects by prepending thelist local address and suffixing the list host. Any invalid requests willlead to a 'help' message from
ezmlm-manage(1).ezmlm-requestreceives messages and verifies that they were sent to the listrequest address.
USAGE
Set up
dir/requestwith an invocation of
ezmlm-request.Make a link from
~/.qmail-list-requestto this file.
Alternatively,place an invocation ofezmlm-requestindir/manageranywhere before theezmlm-manage(1)line.
The first alternative is slightly more efficient, but requires extra files. Thelatter causesezmlm-requestto be loaded for every command handled byezmlm-manage(1).This is less efficient, but very easy to set up.
